Full Job Description

As Sales Manager New Business, you actively drive the growth of our sales for AI solutions in industry and logistics. You win new customers independently, develop existing customer relationships further, and help shape the build-up of our sales department from the ground up.

Your Responsibilities

  • New business acquisition – You build your own pipeline: target account research, outbound, LinkedIn, your network, and trade shows like LogiMAT and Hannover Messe.
  • First conversation & qualification – You quickly recognize where a real business case lies and separate it from non-binding interest.
  • First project as a door opener – You sell the entry point, support it commercially, and develop it into rollout and follow-on business.
  • Cross- & upselling with existing accounts – You grow convinced customers into expanding relationships: more locations, more processes, more products from our portfolio.
  • Proposals & negotiation – You calculate proposals, negotiate at decision-maker level, and drive deals through to signed contracts.
  • Pipeline & forecast – You manage your opportunities in a structured way in our CRM (HubSpot) and deliver a reliable forecast to management and department leads.
  • Partner sales – You leverage our existing network of distributors and system integrators and expand it as a second sales channel.
  • Market feedback into product – You bring requirements and impulses from the market directly into product management and development – the paths there are short.
  • Growing sales – You bring your experience in target markets, argumentation, and processes and actively help shape the build-up of our sales department.

Your Profile

  • You have several years of experience in B2B sales with proven closing success – ideally in capital goods or project business with multiple stakeholders, longer decision paths, and closing via the business case.
  • You have your own network of customers and contacts you can draw on for new business acquisition.
  • You are confident and experienced in cold calling – from first contact to booking meetings at decision-maker level.
  • You know at least one of our target fields from hands-on experience: (intra-)logistics, manufacturing electronics industry, or software.
  • You work independently, in a structured way, and results-oriented – and enjoy actively shaping things rather than waiting for inbound leads.
  • You enjoy being on-site with customers and are willing to travel within the DACH region.
  • Fluent German (C2) and fluent business English (C1 or above).
  • Ideally, you bring a network in electronics distribution, automotive supply, intralogistics, or pharma, have touchpoints with machine vision, OCR/IDP, or Auto-ID, and experience in partner and channel sales.

What We Offer

  • Varied projects with clients across different industries
  • Attractive compensation with performance-based bonus opportunities
  • Flexible working hours and hybrid work – in coordination with team and client appointments
  • Individual training – including certifications and a budget for conferences
  • Collaboration with over 60 experts from AI, software, and consulting
  • Modern office in Leonberg with good transport connections
  • Flat hierarchies, short decision paths, and a collegial working atmosphere
