Your tasks

Holistic project responsibility - You will independently manage IT projects in the energy sector from requirements analysis to successful implementation and ensure budget, quality and timeline.
Digitalization & process optimization - You manage complex digitalization, automation or system integration projects and develop tailor-made solutions to increase efficiency.
Stakeholder management & consulting - You are the central point of contact for energy suppliers, grid operators or municipal utilities and advise them on the IT-side implementation of regulatory requirements (e.g. EnWG, EEG, Redispatch 2.0).
Requirements gathering & implementation - You conduct structured workshops, document requirements in detail and translate them into actionable epics and user stories.
Methodical control & agility - Using methods such as Scrum, Kanban or SAFe, you lead the project team through an efficient, targeted and methodically sound implementation.
Risk management & quality assurance - You identify risks at an early stage, initiate countermeasures and monitor the success of the project with KPIs and regular reviews.
Knowledge transfer & coaching - You support customers and teams with training on agile methods, project management techniques and best practices in IT consulting.

Your profile

You have a degree in business informatics, computer science, (technical) business administration, digital business or a comparable field.
You have at least 3 years of experience in IT project management with a focus on the energy industry and have successfully implemented complex projects.
Sound understanding of energy industry processes, market roles (supplier, grid operator, transmission system operator) and industry-standard IT systems.
Experience with regulatory requirements from the energy industry, such as MaKo 2023, Redispatch 2.0, EnWG, EEG, GPKE or WiM is a plus.
Practical experience in agile project management and with methods such as Scrum, Kanban or SAFe.
You have analytical thinking, problem-solving skills and stakeholder management as well as a structured, independent way of working.
You are a strong communicator and have consulting skills when dealing with customers.
You speak business fluent German and English and are willing to travel anywhere in Germany.
You are adept at using tools such as Office365, Jira and Confluence and are willing to familiarize yourself with new project management tools and software environments.
Ideally, you have certifications in the areas of project management (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2), agile working (e.g. PMI-ACP, SAFe Agilist) or IT service management (e.g. ITIL).
